Ihsahn, former frontman of the Norwegian black metal band Emperor, is featured on the cover of Burning Ambulance issue 7, which is available now as a print edition, an ebook, and for the Kindle. He appeared at this summer’s Wacken Open Air festival in Germany with his longtime live band, who also perform and record as the progressive metal group Leprous—singer/keyboardist Einar Solberg, guitarists Tor Oddmund Suhrke and Øystein Landsverk, bassist Martin Skrebergene and drummer Tobias Ørnes Andersen.

The set list included songs from each of Ihsahn‘s first four solo albums:
